Move over Summer Games:
It’s an International Poetry Extravaganza!

May 16 and 17, 2020

With the 2020 Summer Games right around the corner what better way to get in the mood than with an artistic international event? Famous and acclaimed poets from seven countries are featured in this cultural celebration exploring the quintessential relationship between words and music in the choral artform. James Bassi’s Harpsonnets (Four Shakespeare Sonnets for Chorus and Harp) are a rare gem in an eclectic program that takes us from Chile to Canada and from the U.S. to India. You won’t want to miss this exotic collection of texts by some of history’s greatest wordsmiths!
